Focus Courses
The normal curricular courses are holistic in spirit. Focus Courses work at special aspects of the language and smoothed up the learning process. There are three focus courses to cater to the learner's needs.

Grammar
Dis-moi
Phonics
Expression écrite et orale
Intensive/crash courses

Please refer to the Focus Course Format to see where you fit. The Focus Courses are complementary to the curriculum courses. They are offered in a 2 hour format once a week at week days, or 1.5 format on Saturday.

Grammaire
This focus course is designed to address the special learning needs of the students who may sometimes feel their grammar has to be put under scrutiny. The teacher uses intuitive and explicit investigations of grammatical items to make the students progress. It's a pleasant and well-structured course based on the grammatical programmes of New Taxi! and Alter Ego. It's ideal to prepare for DELF and DALF exams.

La grammaire autrement
If you need to improve your grammar and revise key points in a more fun way (songs, detective stories, tales, games…), you can join this class. The teacher uses all types of documents and videos to help the students revise their tenses, use the pronouns correctly, structure a sentence, in a word to master the subtleties of the French language.

Phonics
From sounds to a sentence, what makes French language as a unique melody among many? How to sounds can cause so many trouble!

For those having a hard time learning how to pronounce French, and would enjoy a better communication with anyone ! So that, within a couple a months, to straighten out their pronunciation throughout lots of practice in pronunciation and working on the melody of sentences.

Includes breathing and voice projection techniques as well as easy gentle movement techniques. Description and practice based on key figures to cope with mother tongue interference.

Dis-moi
Put away your text book for a while and come to use and improve your oral skills with this special training in conversing in French.

How to start a basic verbal exchange? How to keep it going? How to close it? How to get finally rid of stress of speaking up?

Includes useful phrases to increase exchanges and understanding, strategies and tips for adapting to any communicative situation.

Expression écrite et orale
Advanced and superior students who want to focus on their written and oral production can join this class. They can learn how to write different types of texts, how to convince, argue, analyse and compare. They can also work on descriptions, oral documents and photos. All sorts of topics will be discussed. And this course can be chosen as a good complement to the DALF preparatory class.
