The Fête de la Musique is celebrated in more than 250 towns over five continents, and the AF de Singapour has been part of this celebration for more than 10 years. This year’s festival included the participation of the PUBRC Chinese Orchestra; well-known veteran local musicians; international musicians from Cuba, Colombia. Mauritius and Spain. Among the performers were professional recording artists as well as amateurs who were performing for the first-time.

A l’imparfait de l’objectif comprises photos Doisneau took throughout the course of his life, in which he attempts to illustrate his visions of beauty and goodness, and to share with us moments of happiness found in daily life. Witness to a tumultuous history, haunted by the inevitable passage of time, Doisneau endeavours – by capturing superfluous and unfinished expressions –to make each and everyone of us aware of the temporal nature of life.
