Gudrun Schmidt’s second solo exhibition in Singapore, Kypros – Visions & Voices showcases abstract works from late 2005 to early 2006. The Kypros paintings are the centrepiece of this exhibition; inspired by the controversial dialogue between industry and nature.

21 May 2006 - Jazzy Champagne Brunch

The Jazz Band de Nîmes graced the first-ever brunch at the AF de Singapour – the Jazzy Champagne Brunch. Held at Olio Café, participants savoured fine champagne and French cuisine while enjoying Jazz.

18 May 2006 - Annual Black & Gold Gala Dinner

The annual gala dinner is organized with the objective to raise funds for necessary renovations to its building. It was an exceptional moment. The Jazz Band de Nîmes, specially flown from France for this occasion played their best and got the crowd dancing. The AF thanks all its sponsors, donors, and supporters for their participation.

Verdure Elysium

Verdure Elysium provides a pictorial voice for our natural environment, particularly in Singapore, where nature has to
give way for industrial and economic developments. Shopping malls, high-rise buildings, and multi-level car parks will
increase and very soon, our natural environment and protector will dwindle and vanish.
