EXHIBITION: AROUND THE WORLD!

En route... for a new exhibition!

Some 150 years ago, Jules Verne wrote Around the World in Eighty Days, one of the most famous of his 62 novels and 18 short stories that would make up the Extraordinary Voyages collection. Today, Jules Verne’s work remains astonishingly modern.

With Around the World, Alliance Française de Singapour invites you to discover all the French innovations that have revolutionized the way we travel on land, by sea and in the air. Take up Phileas Fogg’s challenge to travel around the world by TGV, in the A380 or on the France, before finally stepping into Thomas Pesquet’s shoes to go into space. You will hence write the first pages of your extraordinary journey!

A taste of MOVE for kids too!

Come enjoy an exciting kids movie programmation! Follow the adventures of a bookish marmoset in Around the World in Eighty Days by Samuel Tourneux and investigate on mysterious girls' kidnappings with the young Dilili in Dilili in Paris by Michel Ocelot.

WORKSHOPS: EXCLUSIVE WINE TASTING WITH LES AMIS

En route... for a new tasting!

Do not miss an exclusive wine tasting in partnership with Les Amis! Les Amis wine tasting will be focusing on 4 French wines that are new to the Singapore market and unique in their origins and making.

The tasting will be led by Mr Hervé Pennequin, General Manager and Director of Wines at Les Amis restaurant and recipient of 3rd place in the Sommelier World Championship in 2004.

WORKSHOP: BUILD A CHUCK GLIDER WITH JUST FLY IT!

En route... for a kids creative activity!

Looking for a fun and exciting way to spark your children's interest in aviation? Look no further than our glider-building workshop! With easy-to-use kits and expert instruction, your child will get hands-on experience building their very own mini chuck glider, complete with set dimensions and infused with basic principles of flight theory.

TALK: THE FUTURE OF Transportation with jEAN MARIE TARASCON

Join us to learn more about future of transportation thanks to a talk with French Professor Jean-Marie Tarascon. Specialist of solid state chemistry and electrochemistry, Jean Marie Tarascon is teacher at the Collège de France, holder of the chair of Solid Chemistry and Energy.

On Saturday 27 May, come discover the latest book from French author Grégory Nicolas Mes soeurs n'aimez pas les marins, a moving tribute to those women to whom the sea has taken everything and who never give up.

HOLIDAY CAMPS: MOVE IN FRENCH!

En route... for fun Holiday Camps for kids!

This summer, embark your children on a journey into French language and culture thanks to our Holiday Camps. From May to August, kids will laugh, play, explore and stay active in French through a wide variety of activities designed to educate and entertain them. Move around the world through drama, dance, sport, music, science, arts & craft... in French!

2 groups: for French leaners and Francophones
Half day camp: 9am - 12pm or Full day camp: 9am - 4pm (lunch at So France included)
Age groups: 3-4, 5-7, 8-11, 12-16 years old
