DANCE in the press
DANCE, our third programme of the French Excellence series highlights Rudolf Nureyev, a revolutionary dancer who captivated the world of ballet with his intricate performances, choreography, and spirit. A dancer of his time, Alliance Française is proud to showcase 14 original stage costumes of Rudolf Nureyev and 49 unpublished photos through an exhibition.
All costumes and photographs are on loan, courtesy of the Charles Jude's private collection.
Here's a glimpse of the exhibition.
We are also thrilled to have DANCE: A Tribute to Rudolf Nureyev both featured in the press and in the streets. Be sure to check them out!
"Also of note are 49 unpublished photographs. A wonderful trio for Petrouchka, performed with the Royal Ballet in 1963, showcases Nureyev's expressive eyes and face.
